Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s Foot is a fungal infection that typically occurs on the feet. The infection is common among people who exercise or play sports but anyone can get the disease. The fungus that causes athletes foot thrives in warm, dark moist places such as the inside of a shoe, locker rooms, showers and swimming pools. People contract the disease when they walk through a contaminated area and the areas between your toes remain moist.
