Plantar Fasciitis is the inflammation of the thick band of tissue attached to the heel bone called the Plantar Fascia. Plantar Fasciitis is normally caused by repetitive trauma due to activity that puts extra stress on the foot. The condition is often found in people who are runners or play sports such as tennis and volleyball.
